Importing Selections from CSV file
Here’s a video showing how to import selections from a csv file.
The import function would normally detect and match the selections in a file but sometimes when the file does not contain the Betfair race ID it cannot match them up so i show you how to work around this.
You simply force the import to match only by selection name by adjusting the column headers.

We listened to you and changed things – Betbotpro New Layout
Ok so not many of you liked the new layout in v4.3.
So we changed it to be more like the older 4.2 version for ease of use, but of course
Quick Start Graphic – Betbotpro for Betfair 4.3.25+
it still has all the powerful new features which came with 4.3.
We now have just the 3 tabs again, staking, selections, bet settings instead of the previous 6-7 tabs.
The selections tab now encompasses the favourites selection as well as other strategy selections.

It’s always worth having a skim through the manual just to see the options available to you as well as how you can move your license to a new PC etc. You simply need to de-activate the software on your existing PC and then re-activate using your key code on the new PC. You can de-activate via the tools menu/register button.

Betbotpro & Speedratings.com Layer Slayer System
Many users ask us all the time if we can recommend any systems and our answer is always no generally.
But we wanted to let all our users know of the new system available by SpeedRatings.com
Their Layer Slayer system seems to be doing very well. It is a backing system.
The ‘Full Ratings’ service selects two horses per race, the TopRated and NextBest. These are the two horses with the highest speedratings. What they recommend subscribers should do, is to back only the TopRated and/or NextBest selections if their odds are between two limits. This is where BetBotPRO fits in nicely, as it will place the bets automatically so that subscribers do not need to be sat in front of their PC’s all day.
If you go to the website at www.speedratings.com and click on the ‘LayerSlayer’ tab. That should tell you everything you need to know. They have a settings file you can download for Betbotpro also making the setup very easy. You then download the selections everyday and import them into the software. How easy is that!
The ratings are free every Wednesday, so you should be able to try it out with out subscribing. They launched the ‘Layer Slayer’ system on 1st June and as you will see from the proofing to racing-index.com it is proving to be EXTREMELY profitable in it’s first month. You can view the profits at:-

Currently their profits stand at 202pts based on 1pt stakes, so that’s a profit of £2,020 based on £10 stakes.
Yesterday we gave it a go. We started at around 4pm so a bit late but the results were great as you can see.

Betbotpro for Betfair API-NG Update

Hi All
Just a note to say we are still progressing with Betbotpro for API-NG. We are about 80% there and we will post more regularly now to keep you updated.
We are not out of business and never have been, we have just hit a streak of unfortunate circumstances with our programmer and tech issues. We seem to be on the home straight now and will continue do work hard to get the situation back to normal.
We can only thank you for your patience and hope that you will be happier in the next few weeks when we can announce some updates.
Check out the attached picture to see we are getting there with development. We can now download events, filtering events is still a bit troublesome, and get prices for the markets etc. We are currently working on bet placement/bet history/bet management.

Update for 12th Dec 2014
We are progressing still with our update to Betbotpro for Betfair API-NG. It is not going as fast as we would like but we are making progress, even though we have not made as much progress as we had anticipated by this stage in December.
There is not alot we can add to this at the moment but rest assured we are working flat out to get this sorted as soon as possible.
We are not yet at the stage of submitting the app to betfair for security approval and checking but we are hoping to get the first version to Betfair before the xmas holidays start so we can get an idea of where we stand.
We will let you all know any further developments as soon as we can.

Betbotpro API-NG Update 18 Dec 2014
We are going to put an approx. release date of the week beginning 12th January 2015. Every effort will be made to get the app submitted and approved by then. Please continue to watch the blog and the forum for further updates.
We have discussed the situation with Betfair and they have come back with the options below.

BDP coverage will be available on all dates, apart from weekends and bank holidays. The coverage dates are as follows and support will be available 0900-1800
22-24 December
29-31 December
2nd January
The Betfair security team will be available during the same dates as those above (not bank holidays or weekends). They will also have less cover available over the Christmas period
I’ll be away from the office from the 23rd December until the 12th January, so it would be great if you could submit the app before the 23rd December to prevent any unnecessary delays.
All being well, I would expect the process to be complete by the first week of January and not later than Friday 9th January if you submit the app before Christmas.

So based on this it is difficult to see us getting the app to you guys before 2nd week Jan. It is not ideal but we have an end in site, which for all if us here at BBP will be good news and I hope to you to, even though it is later than estimated.

Betbotpro API-NG Update 8th Jan 2015
After submitting Betbotpro v5 to Betfair earlier this week for initial approval we are awaiting their reply. They do not usually take too long, usually around 5 days.
The software as it stands is still under going testing and there are still some bugs that need to be ironed out so it is not ready for release yet until these can be sorted. Testing as you can imagine takes a long time as there are so many variables in the software we want to make sure it is reliable.
Here is a pic of the software placing live bets.
We hope to be able to release the software soon and we continue to work to get this done as soon as is possible.
